Please join us once again for the Angela Wright Photography 3rd Annual Spooktacular Halloween Shoot!

Come on by for a fast, FUN and affordable shoot in your costume! All ages welcome!

WHEN: Sunday, October 31st
WHERE: Washington Park, Fayet St. entrance by the Carillon {big bell tower}
WHAT TIME: from 11am until 2pm.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Must be in costume - NEW THIS YEAR -Specially priced pre-pay packages with time slots available.
In the event of bad weather, we will shoot at an indoor location located at 448 South Grand West, Springfield, IL - Parking in rear of the house. Next door to Big Brother /Big Sister and across the street from Vancil Memorial. Big wooden porch on the front of the house – look for my sign out front!

Session times will be in 15 minute increments.
11am, 11:15am, 11:30am..etc.. *Please be on time*. No refunds will be given for missing your time slot or for no-shows. After you have confirmed a time slot, please select a package using the PayPal drop-down menu to the right on this page. If you have more than one child and want individual images, you will need to buy a package for each child.
You may add on specially priced single prints using the next drop-down menu.
INDIVIDUAL PRINTS MAY ONLY BE BOUGHT AFTER A PACKAGE HAS BEEN PAID FOR.

Ok, so to be fair, these were all shot in about 10 minutes a few evenings ago when the kids and I just stepped out front and they were being silly. Abby and Ethan had been turning our downstairs into a haunted house.. {again} and that is why they have the hats - and the cat.. which is my most favorite halloween decoration..

Wow.. has it really been that long? Sorry to those of you that followed the blog! Between sessions, custom proofing, order placing, book, card and collage designing.. The blog fell through the cracks!

As many of you may know, I have been busy working on a natural light studio space for Angela Wright Photography! For those of you that did not know, I have started booking session appointments in the studio during the day Monday through Saturday.
Of course I still have all of my outdoor sessions as usual in the late afternoon and evening ~ so it works perfectly!
I believe it is very important in our community to support our local businesses!
My studio space is located within a building that also houses " Mail Box and Ship". They are a newer business in the Springfield IL area that opened in November of 2009.
We are located at 3217 Lake Plaza Drive, Springfield, IL, 62703- Right off of Stevenson Dr. between Security Bank and Bank of Springfield.
They offer UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL shipping options for domestic and international. They have a wide selection of boxes, packing materials, and shipping supplies. They also accept all UPS, FedEx and USPS Pre-paid Drop Offs!
The owners are very friendly and helpful in finding you the best shipping rate that they can for your item! I have had a wonderful time getting to know my new "neighbors" and couldn't be happier to share this building with them :)

* As with most of the smaller, family run businesses out there, there is never a huge budget for advertising. Having said that, I would like to do my little part in promoting Mail Box & Ship for all of the wonderful services they offer!Front door parking along with being a smaller size store makes it super easy to zip in and out and be on your way!

This contest will run from April 15 to April 30, 2010. On May 1, 2010, I will announce the winner of the mini studio session and free 8x10 print (or prints depending on the final fan count.) Winner will be picked at random. Session must be booked by July 2010 and will be done in studio.

I can't even begin to tell you how refreshing it was to get back outside and shoot a session! I feel renewed and excited to launch into full swing with outdoor spring photography!!!

Oh my! there are sooOOoo many images to go through! One of the best babies I've ever photographed..all smiles and then off to dreamland :) I'll be adding more but wanted to share this for now..

I have to add a few images of Miss Emma's cousin..such a well behaved girl! Obviously beauty runs deep in this family! (and on a side note, these were actually just candid shots..she was playing around with my hat! :)

Excited About Another Great Year for Angela Wright Photography! { Creative Photography Springfield, IL }

So...the Month of January is a great time to reflect on the past year of business. Find what worked great, tweak what needs changed and keep on growing! Each year everything keeps getting better and I owe it all to my wonderful clients!

There will be some changes in pricing begining in February as well as some changes to the baby and wedding packages. { if you have already booked one of those packages or do so by the end of January nothing changes for you! } There will also be some new things unveiled through the next few months!!
